the business started as a small business by Mr. Chao Chawana-itthinan, using the name "Chao Radio", engaged in the business of selling radios and televisions, as well as after-sales service and general radio and television repairs. Located at 1882 Charoen Krung Road, Yan Nawa, Bang Rak, Bangkok

1964
Chao Radio received a concession for the maintenance of electronic equipment and electrical appliances for military units, including American welfare stores of all branches of the armed forces stationed in Thailand, abbreviated as POST EXCHANGE (PX), for a period of more than 11 years. The company was also honored and trusted by manufacturers from 2 major countries to be a SERVICE CENTER, namely
- America: electrical appliances PHILCO, GE, WESTING HOUSE, AMANA, FEDDER, RCA, ZENITH, FISHER, WHIRLPOOL
- Japan: electrical appliances TOSHIBA, SONY, SANYO, SANSUI, PIONEER, AKAI, AIWA, PANASONIC
This service also covers neighboring countries such as Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia until the Vietnam War ended and American soldiers returned to their homeland. The concession contract ended in 1969. In order to support the increasing business expansion, Mr. Chao Chawana-itthinan established “Star Electronic Limited Partnership” and moved the location to 2014-18 Petchburi New Road, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. The company is engaged in import and export of general electronic products. At the same time, the company has been appointed as a distributor of many foreign brands of products. In addition, another special business has been expanded, which is the design of sound systems and integrated circuit televisions for leading schools, hotels, hospitals, and entertainment venues in Bangkok and other provinces. Modern technology from abroad has been incorporated into the business to provide services to the aforementioned customers.

1989
The business has progressed further, causing the company to increase its capital and register as a limited company under the name "Star Electronic Sales and Service Co., Ltd." and moved to 2636-2644 Drive-in Shopping Center, Soi 1, Lat Phrao Road, Khlong Chan, Bang Kapi, Bangkok 10240.

1990
The company has been trusted by foreign countries to be a distributor of many brands of products, such as Becker car audio equipment, by selling and installing and being a service center for Mercedes Benz.

1991
The business has been doing well and progressing continuously until the present. The development of electronic products has progressed rapidly and widely. Therefore, the company has expanded its work by starting to import tools and equipment for electronic circuit manufacturing factories. The growth of the market for audio and visual systems and telecommunications has led us to start producing our own brand of products under the names STAR PA, STAR PROFESSIONAL, STAR VISUAL and expanding sales through agents nationwide.

1997
The Tom Yum Kung crisis, the result of the weakening of the currency, had an impact on the organization to some extent. However, with a solid structure and disciplined management, we were able to overcome various obstacles well.

1998
We have adjusted to focus on marketing products in the industrial factory group that focuses on exports, which has benefited from the weakening of the currency, causing the business to start recovering and growing.

1999-2009
The product group that is distributed to industrial factories that focus on exports has grown continuously. With a large customer base that produces Hard Disk Drives such as Seagate, WD, Fujikura, Hoya, Samsung, etc., focusing on selling Cleansroom, ESD products and products in the Barcode Printing group.

2009-2015
Started to focus on expanding project work, especially government work and state enterprises, focusing on audiovisual products, sound and image systems, including CCTV cameras.

2016
Started to produce news wireless PA  products under the name STAR, focusing on expanding work to local government agencies, both municipalities, sub-district administrative organizations, and expanding branches in the North, with an office located in Chiang Mai Province.

2017 to present
Entered the era of online marketing, started doing Digital Marketing, focusing on expanding the customer base widely, with examples of products that can expand the market base well, such as Star Magnifying Lamp, Weller, Inter-M, Star Broadcasting, etc.
